The ICC has announced the dates and locations for this year’s ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup.
The 13th edition of the Women’s 50-over World Cup is scheduled to take place from September 30 to November 2, utilizing five venues in India and Sri Lanka for the eight-team tournament. The venues include M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, ACA Stadium in Guwahati, Holkar Stadium in Indore, ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam, and R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The tournament will kick off with an exciting match featuring India in Bengaluru on September 30, marking the return of the Women’s Cricket World Cup to the country after a 12-year hiatus.

The initial semi-final is scheduled to occur in either Guwahati or Colombo on October 29, followed by the second semi-final on October 30 in Bengaluru.
The two teams that reach the finals will have a minimum of two days to get ready for the championship match, which will take place in either Bengaluru or Colombo on Sunday, November 2, as part of the 2025 Women’s World Cup.
The eight teams participating in the Women’s World Cup include India, Australia, England, South Africa, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Pakistan.
Australia will participate in the event as the current champions, having triumphed over England in the final of the latest Women’s World Cup held in New Zealand in 2022.
Additionally, they hold the record as the most successful team in the history of the tournament, having claimed the championship title seven times.
